so just because pac fought 1 guy at 150 that means he better fight another guy at 150?? if i remember right after the marg fight team pacman already made it clear that their going back down because 150 is to much for manny. now if after the marquez fight, team pacman goes and pick another fight at 150 and is not against martinez then u guys can go and say he's ducking martinez until then how can u say he's ducking martinez?? just because he wont go back up to 150?? who else has he fought at 150 since fighting marg???

Pacquiao is a former super featherweight who has maxed out at WW.

Martinez a former WW but now grown into a full middleweight

the only argument you have is he weighed as much as Margarito?

Is that the only scientific/factual reason why you think an undersized welterweight should fight a FULL FLEDGED MIDDLE WEIGHT?

Why in the hell doesnt Martinez move up 8 pounds and weight division after fighting in only 3 divisions for his career. Manny has moved up in 10.

I guess different standards for Pacquiao around here....just ridiculous

Margarito had Pacquiao working overtime to keep Margarito off of him. The round where Margarito landed the body punch along the ropes had Pac in a position where he could have potentially been stopped with more time left in the round or had Margarito been a slightly better man.

If you really think Pacquiao belongs at 154, despite not even weighing in at the full welter weight limit, and despite announcing he would have to resume his campaign at 147.. You need your head examined. Remember the chronological order of these events too. Pac did not say this as a result of Martinez looming. Martinez had not yet put himself in the position he's in now where fans are calling to see him in big fights. The decision was simply a matter of Pac and realistic expectations for his body.

Both of these guys (Pac and Martinez) could wind up in the emergency room if they fight. Martinez is a walking corpse at 150. Manny even had a hard time making 147 in the Marg fight at a 150 CW.

you really think this guy is a full blown middleweight? how so? he weighed in 164 on fight night. That is 4 lbs difference from weigh in. Did he look exactly big compared to Barker? Dont think so

but he won every. single. round.

it wasn't a difficult fight, it was one difficult moment. it's a huge reach to say he looked out of his depth just because things didn't go completely his own way for once.

i hold pacquiao to a higher standard than martinez because he is better than martinez. there's nothing for him at welterweight, he's too good. he needs to concede a few pounds against sergio to give us a competitive fight. i'm not saying he's not small, i'm saying he needs to face bigger people to find a challenge.

I don't think Pacquiao's team wants him to fight above 147 or anybody above 154 because Marg busted him up pretty damn bad..... his punches hurt Pacquiao

and 60% of his fights at middleweight have been against junior middleweights.
