just because pac beat margarito doesn't mean margarito was not too big for pac. he was too big and so is martinez...it's easy to spot the difference in size just use your eyes.

To be fair with Pacquiao, right after the Margarito fight, in the post fight interview, he was already saying Margarito felt too big and strong for him. The size/weight issue is not something he made up when Martinez started asking for the fight.

        Wouldn't mind seeing the fight.

As soon as Pac-Marg was over, Arum declared there would be no
more fights north of WW, because of the severe pain Pacquiao
was in (and he was in it for weeks after the fight).

I think Pac could beat Sergio, but it would be the end of Pac's
career, as he would take just too much damage. As a last hurrah,
I'd be for it, and indeed I have advocated it, in the context that
Pac was said to be soon-to-retire anyway.

Outside of that context, and knowing how hurt Pac was after
Margacheato, insisting on Pac-Martinez can mean you just want
Pac to wind up badly-damaged goods. Is that what you demand
          that his 'fans" should support?

It was very obvious Pac had found his very limit in terms of weight with that Margarito fight. At least for this moment. Hard to understand how everyone doesn't see this. DiBella has turned a lot of fans into cry babies.

So would you approve if Floyd fought Sergio at 147 too?

I'm not pushing for this fight, Pac doesn't HAVE to fight Martinez but don't use size as an excuse when it wasn't an issue when he decided to fight Margarito. It's like his own fans don't even understand how good this mother***a is and are overprotective of him.

i'm just wondering in what sense it was patently obvious that pacquiao was troubled by the weight when the fight was such a walk in the park for him, that's all. he looked well within his comfort zone to me.
