while compubox should not be used to gauge the winner of a fight, it does serve a purpose. . . it provides a REASONABLY OBJECTIVE standard to compare the fight on. . . Of course it's flawed, but it's accurate in measuring GENERAL accuracy, and ACTIVITY.

Actually... thinking about it... the turn of phrase that springs to mind regarding how loudly the Dawson camp is berating Hopkins:I've seen fighters frustrated buy my Lord chad u mentally gone in less than two rounds. Ya the shoulder shrug off is acceptable if u don't cuff a mans legs so when he cones down they aren't underneath him.
Then chad flips out after the fight yelling and screaming at Bernard and the kellerman.
Chad was like a 10 year old bully who got caught at recess.
"The lady doth protest too much, methinks."Comment

I want to see Dawson getting smacked around by Cloud. Maybe Cloud could even teach him some manners in the same process.Comment

So how come people condemn Ortiz for his deliberate illegal foul
but condone chad for his which won him a championship??
Wonder if ortizs headbutt was not ruled a foul and Floyd couldn't continue and lost?!?
How would those view that circumstance?Comment

Hopkins is a target among boxing fans because he's old and his style isn't always pleasant to the eyes.
They are on his nuts when he puts on a good performance like with Pavlik, Pascal, etc but when he puts on a poor showing like Jones 2, Calzaghe, etc they hate himComment

you can't even compare what ortiz did to what dawson did. . . dawson didn't do anything NEAR as blatant, in fact, i don't think dawson did anything illegal at all. . . Hopkins LITERALLY JUMPED on his back, and was trying to shove his forearm down on chad's neck. . dawson, knowing part of hopkins game is leaning on you, and doing dirty **** in clinches, SIMPLY SHRUGGED HIM OFF. . . He didn't "elevate hopkins", hopkins ELEVATED himself, and dawson got him off. . . He didn't use any kind of "move", his glove just happened to be near hopkins leg. . .
however, i do think hopkins was legitimately injured, but at the same time i think the ruling should stand. . . If Vitali's loss against Byrd is listed as a TKO, then no reason Hopkin's should be a TKO. . . Just how boxing works. . . If you get injured/injure yourself, and as long as it's not from a foul, it's a TKO. . .Dawson didn't foul him. Ortiz threw about the most blatant headbutt ive ever seen.Comment

It happens all the time. Normally a fighter gets his footing back and the ref breaks them up. From that position, Hopkins couldn't hit Dawson and vice versa.
Before Hopkins got a chance to plant his feet however, Dawson shoved him off while also picking Hopkins up with his glove behind his leg.
He fouled him. Shoving isn't clean in this sport.Comment

im not sure about that man - what i saw is after hopkins missing, chad is hunched over, and hopkins is trying to JUMP on dawson's back with his forearm in the position to mash down on the back of chad's neck. . . Chad did not "pick him up" - Hopkins PROPELLED himself ON DAWSON's BACK! It is ILLEGAL in boxing to clinch/grab the other guy, especially to use forearm on the back of the neck. . . Dawson did not "shove" him, he SHRUGGED him off.Comment
