Foreman.. c'mon dude Foreman was one dimensional and drank some funny water before the fight.

Frazier...dude Frazier was way past it. When they fought in their primes, Frazier won.

Sonny Liston...get real man, Liston was a bum. Even more one dimensional than Foreman. The mafia probably fixed all his fights.

    Floyd Patterson.....way past it.

    etc.

    Who did this guy beat?

Its called spinning a fighters every accomplishment in a negative light.
This is one of the most legit posts I've seen on boxingscene. Right on brother.

Tarver wasn't coming down anything, he was coming off the best wins of his career over Johnson & Jones. Didn't B-Hop go up to fight him?

Defended against the undefeated Lipsey - retired him, Johnson was was undefeated, first & only guy to ever stop him even until this day! Beat Echols with 1 arm, Keith Jones, Trinidad, Joppy, Eastman, Oscar, robbed vs Taylor twice!
Errr...Pascal twice (1 was a draw, though he clearly won). Absolutely destroyed Pavlik. Who have I forgotten?

Longest reign as a middleweight world champion, most defense, oldest ever world champion. Two weight world champion.

Guys an ATG and in the Top 20-30 of all time.
Actually you are wrong....he came down like 40lbs for the Rocky Movie....

Every FOOL knows Tarver had to go down from 218 to 175 in like a couple or three months. Don't play dumb. If you like Bernard, don't ignore the facts. See, so many of you are now realising what I realised long ago...better late than never. The man is a hyped up product of HBO, a homegrown fake greatness.

So when Hopkins moved up two weight classes to fight Tarver at 175, it's nothing. He was this big Middleweight anyway, and Tarver was drained making 175.

But when Pavlik moved up two weight classes to 170, it's a problem? A 6'2 guy with a bigger frame than Hopkins ever had at 160. No consideration that Hopkins had to lose an extra 5 pounds, to get to 170.

All this smaller man, bigger man talk is starting to sound ******ed.

hopkins was a shrunk down lightheavyweight fighting at middle anyways, so him moving from middle to 175 to beat a tarver who was hanging out on movie sets with stallone is no revelation...ain't so much that he's always fighting smaller men, but the height, reach, and strength advantages always makes sure he has going in make for unfair
