actually he just got done filming the Rocky Balboa fight which is what I think is being referenced. In that he had to be close to 200lbs to have the look of a heavyweight.

Hopkins a great fighter. Hate him or love him.

Pretty much cleaned out 160 during his reign.

          The division was generally weak but he beat good fighers like;

          Atwon Echols
          Keith Holmes
          William Joppy
          Howard Eastman
          Robert Allen
          And of course Felix Trinidad

His reign at 175 not too lengthy but a good win over Tarver and recently Jean Pascal.

His wins over Wright and Pavlik are decent wins IMO not all that great I feel that Wright and Pavlik are both unproven above 160 and were at the time.

I'm not really a fan of Hopkins and over the years found at times fighting smaller men like Oscar, Wright and Pavlik a tad tiresome but I feel that his fighting 'smaller men' has too much emphasis into it. He didn't fight 'smaller men' as much as people tend to claim.

He fought and beat alot of good fighters and has en excellent career defining win over Trinidad.

          I feel he's a Top 10 MW I have him ranked at #10 and I feel he's an ATG.

            daggum has retired now.

he watched the Calzaghe - Hopkins fight for the first time yesterday and agreed Calzaghe actually won.

                    Really? I disagree.

I think Pacquaio is significantly greater than Hopkins.

a drained tarver coming down from hw............

jean pascal twice (we know what the first fight was)............come on be serious lol

                      who has he REALLY beat??????????
You know whats funny about your mentality? You can apply it to anyone, watch this...Ali...who did he REALLY beat?

Foreman.. c'mon dude Foreman was one dimensional and drank some funny water before the fight.

Frazier...dude Frazier was way past it. When they fought in their primes, Frazier won.

Sonny Liston...get real man, Liston was a bum. Even more one dimensional than Foreman. The mafia probably fixed all his fights.

                      Floyd Patterson.....way past it.

                      etc.

                      Who did this guy beat?

Its called spinning a fighters every accomplishment in a negative light.
