Yes, they did! The homie Reed made some moves for me behind the scenes! S/O to him.

Yep. I'm thinking the same thing about the weight and everything. But Martinez has been talking about it alot lately, which is a good thing, I suppose. But something in me is just a bit iffy on it actually happening. We will see and if they are negotiating, Floyd needs to make it happen. It would be HUGE IMO.

          Absolutely, Walt.

I imagine it will be at 154 or 155. What you think? You think that's legit?

I would be fine with 154 but no less.

Why? If anything Pac should be the one fight Sergio instead of Floyd

that's a good man, Reed, permaban for you was ridiculous.

I don't want to jinx myself and I'll be happy with whatever, but I would love a son, lotta estrogen in the house....

I think floyd's made some brilliant business moves in recent years, now I think its time for a legacy move. If he fights sergio at 157 or above, I"ll be have a lot of respect for him. I'd probably actually come out with my first ever thread giving floyd all kindsa props. If its 154-156, I"ll respect the fight.

if its below 154, it's a bullshi t fight to me.

its the best fight that can be made for floyd besides manny.

Pac is FOTD so please give him a break. He fought Cotto and Margarito for Floyd already, so now you want Pac to soften Sergio up for Floyd as well?

just sign the contract already and stop teasing the public with this will they or wont they nonsense!

to elaborate on what I posted to coach,

If this fight is at 157 and up I would give floyd a pass on everything I've been putting him down for since 2003, i think that type of legacy fight would make me a floyd fan again. I think sergio's that much of a dangerous fight for him.

now 154-156, I think is legit, but its not as much of a risk - going to get the undisputed MW title which is what would really make me jump back on the bandwagon. but 154-156 I can live with b/c sergio's the one that's been begging.

anything under 154 and I don't care about the fight, kinda like how I don't care about manny-jmm.

Im still skeptical on Sergios drawing power. Seeing that his PPV numbers vs Ortiz hasnt been released, I believe Floyd is skeptical on his own drawing power without a household name or Mexican superstar in the other corner.

Why roll the dice fighting Sergio when you're guaranteed 2+ million PPV fighting Pacquiao.
