Based on all the signs, i think Floyd will fight Sergio

First he fights Ortiz to test the water aginst a bigger opponent, and a southpaw.

Next he says he want the biggest fights.

Martinez says on radio negotiations are advanced.

Dibella is sucking up to Floyd.

Team Martinez and Dibella says they will fight Pirog for 5million. I believe that is the garantee Sergio will get if he fights Floyd. Thats why they came up with that number. Why fight Pirog for less?

Martinez pretty much get a garantee of 1-1.5mill per fight, fighting whoever. Hence this is why i think he'll get a bigger garantee than Ortiz did. Ortiz never got close to 1 mill before the Floyd fight.

Im not a huge fan of Floyd but always admired his skills, and do consider him an ATG, possibly even GOAT. Now if he does fight Sergio which im a much Bigger fan of, i cant help but to root for Floyd in that fight, cause im just admiring him so much for even taking the fight. Win or lose.

Yeah Martinez said they have advanced negotiations with both Pac and Floyd, although I believe Floyd is the one who should fight him of the two. I think the negotiations are in progress right now, and more might be clear after the Pac fight. There is also an option to fight Khan for Floyd, not a bad one at that.

Change Martinez with pac and remove the last reason and you can make the argument that all the signs point to Pac.
I think Sergio is down for whatever though and after Floyd's last PPV B.S... he's down to take a fight with Sergio... probably won't be for his belt though.

Seems to me--especially if this happens--that Floyd is makin a real push in the last years in boxing to maximize his legacy. Pac on the other hand seems to be fighting for money. A little ironic considering the public perception of both, but Mayweather IS taking the fights people ask of him... Except of course the Pac fight.

We'll see what the public thinks of the Sergio fight after it happens. Right now, a lot of people would consider it a tougher matchup than Pacquiao.

I have always been doubtful of this happening.

But I hope it happens and Floyd needs to sign this fight immediately because it's a very winnable fight.
