Dawson did what he was supposed to do, at that time. But after the fight his interview was unbecoming of a boxer. There were no moves leading up to Hopkins injury that should have lead to a tko win for him & he knew that. He should have asked for a rematch then to set the record straight.

I'd definitely be shocked if it wasn't. Less clear cases where a fight should be overturned have been overturned, this is pretty much obvious.

I'm still laughing about how some people thought hopkins wanted out..why would he want out nothing really happened to make him want out? They act like Dawson was beating him up....lol it started like every other bhop fight.

He didn't want out because he was losing, he wanted out because it's easier to win in 2 rounds than over 12.

True, but you do have to look at it from his point of view. Pure emotion was running through his veins at the time(Dawson). He just won a belt that he probably feels he didn't deserve due to a controversial tko. In my opinion I believe anybody, even the coolest of heads, would have been pissed off. I know I would have been. The only thing that makes me mad is that Dawson wanted no rematch. The fight went two rounds and he doesn't want a rematch??? Makes no sense.

Can't blame him, Hopkins' been trying to push Dawson down to the ground all night in the fight. How can somebody be called a fighter when you get hurt from a simple nudge?
