Dawson didn't do enough. If I was him I woulda tried to stomp on Hopkins pathetic face. Hopkins is the biggest disgrace in boxing history. Dirtiest fighter in the last two decades and then to waste the fans money like that, that's sad. Dawson trained so hard for the moment of his life and Hopkins being the pu$$y he always has been took that away by faking an injury. *** him and his fake ass personality too. Gotta love the hypocrisy in Dawson's accusations of Hopkins ducking him, coupled with his adamant stance on no rematch. I too lost whatever respect I had from Dawson. The guy disgraced himself with his post-fight conduct. It was disgusting.

Exactly..I actually liked Dawson before the fight and thought if he wins good for him..but that display afterwards was horrible..dawson seems like one of those spoiled little kids that didnt get what they wanted and started crying..hell he still got a free title for the time being..lol so he can call himself the champ for a few days anyways.

Simple. The ref saw the push off as legal. I don't know if I see it that way, but I was not the ref in charge. For Hopkins I'm not sure what to believe. When he fell to the ground it looked as though he landed on his back not his shoulder, but again I'm no doctor and maybe he was hurt. The only thing I do know is I'm glad I didn't pay for the ppv. After this fight I doubt I will ever pay for a ppv again unless it's a true megafight.

Soapy Hopkins got what he deserved

I'm tired of boxers taking advantage of the rules to try to sneak underhand victories, first Dirrell v Abraham, then Judah v Khan, then Mayweather v Ortiz and now Hopkins v Dawson.

Boxing would be better off without these guys.

I'm still laughing about how some people thought hopkins wanted out..why would he want out nothing really happened to make him want out? They act like Dawson was beating him up....lol it started like every other bhop fight.

True, but you do have to look at it from his point of view. Pure emotion was running through his veins at the time(Dawson). He just won a belt that he probably feels he didn't deserve due to a controversial tko. In my opinion I believe anybody, even the coolest of heads, would have been pissed off. I know I would have been. The only thing that makes me mad is that Dawson wanted no rematch. The fight went two rounds and he doesn't want a rematch??? Makes no sense.
