Boxing has been a joke for many many years now.

Guys like Hopkins and his feats like beating Pascal, to become the oldest champion is what gets boxing fans.

If that's what gets him fans then why can't he sell out a stadium in his own city? Do you think he fought Pascal in Canada twice because he likes the country? And not it's not official that he was injured, it's official that he told a doctor that he fell on his shoulder and it hurt, which anyone can say. Let's even say it was true for the sake of argument; if the net result of his so called injury is 5 mg of vicodin I'd say it wasn't that bad to begin with.

I understand Dawson was upset..hell anyone would be after that..but he should have been alot cooler about it..I actually liked Dawson before that incident..he was mad because his big moment got Spoiled by a freak accident..I know Hopkins isn't the most classy person but damn..the old man was hurt and Dawson acted like hopkins just laid down on him..

I'm a Bhop fan and have no problems with Dawson until last night..without knowing whether Hopkins was injured or not..Dawson acted like a total dumbass after the fight..I know he was upset but he'll he should have at least had some courtesy after the fight..so after that display I no longer have any respect for Dawson..he's nothing more than a punk..and don't say Bhop wanted out that's ******, nothing had even happened yet for him to want out..**** if he was getting pummeled maybe but he wasn't.

Hopkins ended up on his back and chad threw him off ..he got hurt..simple ruling no contest and dawson acted like a crybaby about it..funny everyone against bhop but i get it..if this happened to Dawson everyone would be the same way toward Dawson.

Gotta love the hypocrisy in Dawson's accusations of Hopkins ducking him, coupled with his adamant stance on no rematch. I too lost whatever respect I had from Dawson. The guy disgraced himself with his post-fight conduct. It was disgusting.
