I want this fight to happen idk why this hasent happened already???? i mean wasnt Dimitri pirog the #1 contender for the title??? ive saw a couple of hes fights the dude is very talented and a great match up for Serg but why did he fight barker instead?? well it should happen cuz who else is really there for Serg to fight????? he dont wana go up in weight so where is he gona generate the $$$$ he wants for big fights... if Serg wants to get paid he will have to move up another weight class thats hes only option cuz he aint getting a payday with Jr or Pac so where's the money coming from???... BhOP want to fight him at a catchweight and he said he said no to the idea and i truly belive BhOp will fight him in at anytime sometimes u gota go that extra mile to get what u want ...its very tough but what options does he have??

Russian Crushin says "So you want Sergio to have the home advantage and Pirog to take the risk, all for less money". My response: Pirog is getting a shot at a top PFP fighter. The top PFP fighter calls the shots. Pirog gets fame if he wins. You talk about risk but who is the near unknown and who is the star??

Sturm was commonly seen as the best middleweight after Martinez. You're being too nonchalant about it. It's a big win (although technically a loss). Much much bigger than anything Pirog has ever done.
He has more in his arsenal to trouble Sergio. Macklin isnt that good. Ive watched him fight for years. He gets hit far too easy and would be a cakewalk for Sergio. DiBella knows that. Its a much easier style match for Sergio.

Even Sturm would be a tougher fight than Macklin. But he aint comin to fight Sergio.

Russian Crushin: "Im still waiting on why Sergio would get robbed in Russia, even tho he got robbed twice in the US but still fights there." I say simple - This has become Sergios second home, he is now a bigger name than Williams/Cintron and knows he will not get robbed in a close decision here as he was when HE was the unknown. This is all Martinez's choice now. He is the star.

He is not the top P4P fight

            Money calls the shots

So Sergio is a "star" yet he drew like 3K people to his last 2 fights which is pretty much equivalent to how many people Pirog drew to his fight

Plus you're pretty much admitting Pirog is too much of a risk, meaning its a DUCK

How much more money? Do you know? You don't. Unification bout?? Who cares.

And no, I didn't say a fighter, who is a champ by the way, should ever leave his hometown, what I am saying is that he should make sure he is compensated for taking that risk.

Do you know that in the 90's Roy Jones was offered about double the money he made on HBO to fight Germany's Dariusz Michalczewski in Germany?

Roy Jones turned it down because he was afraid of the decision he might get in Germany. It's not uncommon for fighters to turn down fighting in someone else's hometown.

Ask Caballero if he regrets going to Argentina and getting robbed blindley against Barros. I mean, I can give you tons of exmaples of champs getting robbed in someone elses country.

And trust me, Sergio ain't going to Germany to fight Sturm for the same reason he won't go to Russia to fight Pirog. No way Sergio wins a decision against Sturm in Germany and no way Sergio wins a decision against Pirog in Russia.

Yes Pirog is really unknown but Serg aint very popular either he has little to no fan base to fill in seats so the only advantage Serg has hes status as the MW champ but other than that he isnt drawing any great numbers to see him fight which sucks Ass cuz the guy is very talented as hell..' Man without a country'

Ok but the problem is that Pirog is willing to fight in the US.

And this is coming from a Pirog fan. He was amazing in his US debut with the one punch KO. I think Pirog could trouble anyone....I want to see more of him....but Martinez KNOWS the dynamics of a bad decision here have reveresed in the way his status from unknown to star has as well.
