I doubt Pac/Marquez hits a million if this is true. People want to see Pac/Mayweather and they're done shelling out money until that fight happens. Mayweather/Ortiz was a better matchup than Pac/Marquez at this point.

I said it before and I'll say it again. This will be like the fall of '09 all over again, only worse (for Floyd) and it's highly unlikely that a fight with Vic would do better numbers than Hatton or Marquez for Floyd. Don't know why people thought a fight with Victor Ortiz was going to bring in 1.7-2 mil buys. What were you people smoking?

Where did Kim get that # from BTW? Either way, at this point 850K seems much more likely than the 1.3 mil floydhype was trying to push. It's been 3 weeks...

850 K sounds accurate. they really ought to think about pushing down the PPV Price to 49.99 considering the opponents being sparring partners

Kim has not reported this. He stated it as a potential # he's heard rumored on Twitter. Rafael has stated repeatedly that the # he's getting from GBP is ober 1 Mill. Time will tell, but 850 is in no way quantified.

The fact that it's taken them so long to release the numbers means they must have been disappointing. My guess would be that Americans are starting to get tired of paying $50-$60 for PPVs that only deliver what they promise half of the time. Didn't Pacquiao's last fight do disappointing numbers too?

Not that it matters that much to me, what with my £15 English PPVs, but I hope for you Americans' sake they reduce the price a bit. $60 is extortionate.

i doubt canelo and morales amounted to much. after matthysse pulled out, the undercard fell apart for most people i guess. still, people are assuming too much with the numbers.
