Martinez is the same dude that went life and death against a eurobum in Barker. He doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Pacquiao.

If floyd wants to fight him than the ducking and dodgeing will never end. But here are the reasons why it won't be floyd

    1) hes getting locked up for a long long time
    2) martinez isn't marketable and this fight would sell less than the 850k Ortiz fight
    3) floyd is too small for martinez at 154.

IN 2009 BOB ARUM SAID :

“The fight that should be made is Mayweather and Shane Mosley. But Mayweather won’t take that fight. He won’t take any fight where there is any possibility where he might lose. Money is secondary with him. He will not take a chance like a normal fighter. He cares more about his legacy and being able to retire undefeated, so he could say that he never lost a fight.”

I think Shane Mosley, because of his style, has the best chance to beat Mayweather”.

BoxingScene.com sat down with Top Rank’s Bob Arum to discuss the possibility of a Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao encounter in 2010, and a variety of other related topics. The biggest hurdle to make that fight is the money. Mayweather, on more than one occasion, has gone on the record and made it clear that he won’t take a 50-50 deal to fight Pacquiao. He often cites his pay-per-view numbers as a big factor in demanding more money than Manny. In at least two interviews, Mayweather has taken the position of demanding at least a 60-40 split in his favor.

AND MAYWEATHER BEAT SHANE MOSLEY IN 2010 AFTER MOSLEYS KNOCK OUT WIN AGAINST ANTONIO MARGARITO .

Freddie roach said it too and he was scared to let poochiao fight mosley after mosley knocked antonio margarito out , he only wanted to fight mosley at a catcweight , he fought mosley after mayweather beat him and at 39 years old.

And for poochiaos legacy , poochiao never beat a good fighter in his prime who was not washed up , coming of losses , weight drained or at catchweights .
Cotto, hatton were coming off wins when Pac beat them. yes Floyd needs to beat Sergio. Pac doesnt because hes got FOTD accolades already.

There will never be a fight that involve any combination of those three fighters.

Too small? Does Floyd want to recieve credit for something, well a fight at 154 is no big deal. SRL could have got Hagler to come down in weight, but theres more glory in fighting hagler at 160.

Floyd isnt too small for Martinz. If Floyd is good enough hes big enough.

Cotto was damaged by Margarito and Hatton was mentally damaged by Mayweather because he wasnt undefeated anymore , he never lost a fight before that fight , he was the king in the UK , you saw Hattons face at the end of the fight it was like the end of the world for him .

Only you say Cotto was damaged, yet hes now LMW champ. Cotto dont agree with you and neither does anyone else.

Floyd has fought damaged fighters and he dont seem to care about that. JMM was damaged by Pac, baldy was damaged 9 times before Floyd got him. SSM ass got taxed 5 times before FLoyd got him.

Hatton said he was the best hed ever been before he fought Pac.

Lol even Mayweather predicted that Poochiao was going to beat Cotto because Cotto wasnt the same fighter anymore .

And who are the damaged fighters that Mayweather fought ******* ?

MARQUEZ WASNT DAMAGED BY POOCHIAO BECAUSE IT WAS CONTROVERSIAL AND NOT EASY WINS FOR POOCHIAO .

MARQUEZ WAS A CHAMPION AND THE NUMBER 2 POUND FOR POUND WHEN MAYWEATHER FOUGHT HIM .

And marquez was the one who asked to fight mayweather , he wanted to beat the best to be number 1.

I think Martinez has more potential to sell though. They can market the whole David vs Goliath angle. People eat that up. And if they can effectively communicate that these are the best two p4p fighters of the world (putting Mayweather aside), it will do well.

Bradly is horribly dull. I can already imagine the boring 24/7.
