I see alot of people are starting to think Manny could and probably would beat Martinez. I remember when I stated that a year ago, almost everyone thought Pacman had no chance.

With that said, I really think Arum will let Haymon and Floyd outsmart him for the 3rd time (scouping up Mosley, the Ortiz fight, and finally gettting Sergio in the ring).

I hope Arum can make this happen and just wait to build Bradley up, but something tells me that he will make Pacman vs Bradley and Floyd goes off and faces Sergio.

IMO Bob has fell off hard as a promoter and I hope he wakes the fvkk up and realizes the opportunity at hand.

I say fight Sergio at 154, because Sergio only rehydrates up to 164-166....same weight Margarito, Clottey, and Ortiz would. Even at that weight Manny still UD's Sergio IMO.

BTW I say fvkk the Middleweight strap. Manny can wait to go for that in year or two from now against someone like Canelo Alvarez

By then Canelo would be fighting there anyway, would have beaten a few champs, and that fight would be a good retirement fight.

two years from now Sergio should be all but done, fighting wise, as well as Felix Sturm and it would only leave guys like Golvkin and Pirog, would I feel Alvarez could beat if he continues to develop properly.

I agree with most everyone on here that Martinez fighting May or Pac would be a God-send, but neither one of those fights happen at 154. Speculation is that 150-151 is where those fights take place. Martinez is serious about fighting both of them at that weight and has even stated that getting down to 151 wouldn't be such a daunting task. I think Martinez wipes the floor with both of them at 154+ and they know it. At this point in time, Martinez is willing to go down and apparently Pac and May are willing to meet him at a higher weight. Tough fight @ any weight for all fighters if you ask me. Great fight @ any weight as well.

But if anyone is going to fight Sergio first, I'll have to say that May steps up to the plate first and wins a close UD.

                doubt this is true.

Team Mayweather is probably throwing this out there to Sergio getting his hopes up for nothing prevent people from saying that Khan is next.

If Floyd fights anyone at 154, it would be Canelo. Makes absolutely no sense to fight Martinez at that weight. Canelo can pack 10,000+ people into stadiums and arenas in Cali and has a massive, loyal fan base. He also has a championship.

Martinez has no fan base, couldn't convince his own family and friends to pay for tickets to a fight in his backyard. He has no championship. And he's not a Golden Boy fighter. For all the talk about Pacquiao only doing in house fights... tell me when the last time was that Floyd fought anyone outside of the GBP stable. Go ahead.

Just wishful thinking on Martinez's part. Unless of course you believe he's negotiating with BOTH Pac and Mayweather and they're in a bidding war to see who gets to fight in a half empty MGM and sell 500K PPvs.
