Chances are that he'll fight Ishida before he fights Pac or floyd.

And if he offered Cotto his entire purse if he loses, why doesn't he do it for this fight?

That's exactly what I think. There are no talks with Mayweather and none with Pac as of right now.

      That's obvious.

I think martinez is a little bit nervous because Bradley and Amir is climbing to WW. If this happens he might not be able to get a piece of either Pac and May. Especially that just like him, the two guys wont be staying in the sport for too long. So he needs to try his best to pry both fighters.

if a fight should happen, it should be manny vs floyd....

martinez is a good fighter but he could not bring $$$ on the table....prof. boxing is an entertainment business..

i guess...martinez is desperate to get a huge payday, he does'nt mind to go down to 150 to fight either manny or floyd.

how much did sergio get from his last fight? if you know the answer, tell me if my opinion is not close to reality...

real boxing fans also knew who baldomir and clottey were.

martinez, baldomir and clottey all had/have people who root(ed) for them at one time or another, but none of them truly have a fanbase.

He made 1.5 million. If Martinez fights Pac/May, I think he'll make 2.5 million max. So I don't think he's desperate for a payday per se. He probably just wants the exposure so he could start selling on his own.

I think martinez wants to fight on a PPV, so that he can say he's a ppv fighter and get a little upside.

if that's the case, i guess he should not fight them below his comfortable weight, because if it's 150, manny or floyd will just kick his butt. i really wished that martinez got a good casual fan base, the fight with either manny and floyd would surely materialize..maybe 5m pay for him.

yeah, martinez should demand a $2.5 million purse and $500k for every lbs under 154 lbs.

I'd like to see Floyd take the fight @ 155 lbs, and try and claim a middleweight belt.

                      Can't see it happening tho.
