In the old Dublin Opinon, a humourous weekly magazine, better than England's Punch, there was a cartoon of a stadium, a crowd, announcers and one boxer in the ring . They were all looking up at the lights, and the radio commentator says excitedly "...Killer McCoy hasn't landed one in this round yet.....' I still laught at it.

Another which was absolutely true and verbatim, many years ago was when I was boxing, and my trainer, the famous Frankie Kerr (look him up on the Internet) and I were looking at some ring action where the team middleweight cnamed Brian Duncan was sparring
and he said "he'd make a good light-heavy..." I said that it was too much for him, and Frankie said ".... no, perfect..... light in the head and heavy on the feet...." Another one I also still laugh about.

            That "one" should be "once".
