He then sat out a year, got older and more out of shape, and went 8 rounds with Vitali before he was stopped.

Kevin McBride showed how meaningfull Danny Williams win was over Tyson. Williams is also a fringe contender, and far from a meaningful win.

So when you're trying to make a case that Vitali is the best fighter of this mellinium so far, you're ignoring the fact he LOST to the two best fighters he faced in that time, and trying to sugar coat and pump up his wins over out of shape fringe contenders.

Vitali's biggest career wins are over Larry Donald, and Kirk Johnson.

Look those guys up and think about how meaningful that is.
