I would have said the same thing but when I saw him sized up with Jermain Taylor as oppose to a Oscar or Felix...You realize that those fights with with Oscar and Tito were fights with 2 incredibley smaller guys. Seein Jermain sized up against Hopkins was a legitment middleweight fight and Hopkins performed well and everything but Taylor just has more goods than Hopkins does..

Taylor has the chance to be considered one of the greatest Middleweights of all time, if not the greatest it looks like..

Taylor has the chance to be considered one of the greatest MW of all time judging from what. A lucky win over Hopkins, or the OUTSANDING wins over Joppy, and Eduardo.

In fact, I would bet money that Calzaghe would knock out Hopkins if they were to fight.

Haven't you ever noticed how Hopkins was challenging old, and out of prime fighters like Roy Jones, James Toney. I don't see him challenging guys like Lacy and Calzaghe.

Hopkins is a smart business man and he's taking the safest route possible. He had 20 straight title defenses versus shoddy competition at best. His best wins are against smaller guys who were just blown up. Hopkins has a legacy and if he gets past Taylor this time around, he's not going to challenge anyone under 34.

Judging by his size and his skills and how he uses his enormous size and skills..You can tell he's somthing special and you can tell he posseses what it takes to be a devestating fighter..

Hopkins did great in the fight but Taylor was just too big and he used his size and speed efficiently..

Hopkins did what he said he would do and he took away the speed of Taylor. After the 7th round Taylor wasn't gassed, he was just getting outclassed. Taylor really needs to stop making excuses, and he needs to stop listening to Dibella. He's like Dibella's little muppet.

Hopkins will knockout Taylor. Mark my words.

Yeah but don't be too surprised if Taylor comes in better shape and better stamina. I'm goin for Hopkins just cause it looks amazing to see his lil skinny frame go to work on the bigger Taylor..

When Hopkins KOs Taylor, he should move up to 168 and fight Jeff Lacy..

If he BEATS Jeff Lacy, that will make him higher than Monzon and Hagler IMO.

                    Just like Hagler and Monzon?

                    Come on.

Throughout history, guys have stayed at Middleweight with the intention of dominating it their whole career.

Hopkins choose to do this just like Hagler and Monzon did.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

And who's talking about Taylor exposing Hopkins and possibly being the greatest Middleweight ever???

                    Are you kidding????

                    Hopkins was 40.

What's wrong with some of you guys?

Not saying Taylor doesn't have that kind of potential, but it's WAAAAYYY to early to be talking about something like that.

Unreal comments from some of you.
