Actually what Ortiz did was not a trick, it was violation of #7

Floyds was violation of #14 and he was not deducted a point, in fact he was rewarded a win, wrongfully.

No you provided a rule, there is almost nothing black and white about the sport of boxing. The ref is there to interpret the rules, what he says goes that night point blank so you are not dealing with the realities of boxing.
