Cortez decided not to disqualify Ortiz, but to take a point away. Got it.Nobody has ignored nothing, Ortiz lost a point for it yes or no? and dont you think what Ortiz did relates to #7?
Either way Ortiz was deducted a point justice had been served.
Now rather than to keep talkin about that the moment cortez took a point thats a dead issue lets move on to the trick or action that Floyd committed to cause injury to an opponent #14
Cortez also decided that Mayweather did NOT perform an unsportsmanlike trick or action.
Really, what else is there to discuss? Will you only accept the referee's action when it serves your agenda?Comment

It is not Floyd's job to check and make sure Ortiz is prepared in that situation, the fight was on the onus was on Ortiz to protect himself.
Yes the ref is there to interpret the rules that is what a ref does in any fucking sport, there are judgment calls, like not throwing Ortiz out for the headbutt that is Cortez interpreting the rules which you have no issue with~
You have it ass backwards.Comment

Yes but he will be given five mins to recoveryeah but Hopkins does it smoothly...lol...folks he's not tryna say Ortiz was right or shouldve won...he is simply sayen the fight ended ****ily due to the rules bein broken..me personally i like seein controversy in fights thats what i pay for i can watch 12rd good fights on ESPN for free...but got a ? Doesnt it say if a boxer gives a low blow...and the fighter receiving it cannot continue after time..that fighter receiving it loses??? i'm not sure i'm seriously askenComment

Nobody said its Floyds job to check and make sure Ortiz is prepaired, but it is his job and responsibility to follow the rules.
The fight was on nobody said it wasnt.
You have it backwards, your clearly evading that rule right there and putting spin on it.
let me try to slow down cus it appears your mentally ******ed.
Fight was on
Ortiz hugged Floyd, the final hug, Floyd nods his head as Ortiz moves in to embrace him, Floyd with his hands up agrees to the embrace, and as Ortiz steps back with his hands down there is your violation the tricking of the opponent.
Now if you want to argue he didnt do that, Well Why move in for the hug, why didnt he just throw them ****s before Ortiz moved in to embrace him?Comment

I see nothing in the rules saying you can't both violate rule 7 and 14!Nobody has ignored nothing, Ortiz lost a point for it yes or no? and dont you think what Ortiz did relates to #7?
Either way Ortiz was deducted a point justice had been served.
Now rather than to keep talkin about that the moment cortez took a point thats a dead issue lets move on to the trick or action that Floyd committed to cause injury to an opponent #14
I agree it was a headbutt(7) but it was also a unsportsmanlike Action that cause injury to the opponent(14) so if you can't disprove or deal with this then i invite you to take a long look in that mirror people have been suggesting ask yourself
1. Do you care about the rules or is it just making somebody(Floyd) look bad in victory? something probably scarce in you're life
2.Do you really believe anything you are saying?
You have provided nothing but nonsense since i proved you wrong! No facts, no nothing so i implore you to get a grip and get over what was just another notch on Floyds belt!
It's nice to finally join the forum! I've been reading a long time! and i look forward to battling the ever grown ignorance around boxing!
And by the way you got wrecked by a 17 year oldComment

got ya...is there nothen then about if another figher just fouls in general(or pulls unsportsmanlike) and the other cant continue..that person loses...?... damn tho thats a ****ty rule..if i get hit in nuts and cant continue after 5min...I lose...b..s..it should go as a Tie or a loss for other guy..only tho that someone like my boy Hop would play the 5min and say he cant continue to get the win..but to punish the guy whom got fouled sux..Comment

This is the problem, Cortez decided not to take a point, he decided not to enforce the rules, when anybody who has a set of eyes can clearly see that the final mayweather move is clearly a violation of the rules.Cortez decided not to disqualify Ortiz, but to take a point away. Got it.
Cortez also decided that Mayweather did NOT perform an unsportsmanlike trick or action.
Really, what else is there to discuss? Will you only accept the referee's action when it serves your agenda?
it is.. I mean looking at the rules and looking at how this ended your going to tell me that, after knowin this that what happend is not a foul?Comment

ORTIZ HEADBUTT?!?!!Care to debate this now.....
Floyd could have hit him before the embrace, he chose not to, he baited this kid in, to ensure he was totally unsuspecting and defensless and nailed him, exactly what we see in your gifs, its clearly a foul according to Nevada...

That is not tricking your opponent that is your opponent not doing his job properly and taking advantage when the fight is on.Nobody said its Floyds job to check and make sure Ortiz is prepaired, but it is his job and responsibility to follow the rules.
The fight was on nobody said it wasnt.
You have it backwards, your clearly evading that rule right there and putting spin on it.
