You are not some NSB superhero saving us from evil. You're a vigilante hater who believes he is doing good by steadfastly arguing floyd cheated. If you really love boxing, how about posting about it sometimes.Son let me be straight here, I have been on the forum voicing My opinion my take on this and questioned the legality of it all.
The Floyd fans dismissed my post, wrote it off, justified Floyds tactics based on What Ortiz did.
However I am going to provide proof when I say something, I am going to bring evidence, if I say something I have to back it up, it just took me a long time discussing the rules and collecting the information, I started with the executive director of the Associated Boxing Commission, from their unified rule book, to the federal rule book regarding the referees code of conduct all the way down to Nevadas rules.
I am going to back up what I say, and why should anybody hate on that? How many people on these forums actually do that? and the only people who are hating on that, are people who are not fans of the sport, these people are star struck kids, who are stuck on one individual.
I am not using this to justify what Ortiz did, again that as well is against the rules, what I am doing is simply turning on a light for those who do actually want to learn something.
apparently most of the people here, are happy living in a bubble world.Comment

I don't see where the "trick" part comes into play. It seems that Victor initiated touching gloves again. In the least, it seems mutual to me. They touch gloves and then Victor takes a step back with his hands down. Once he took that step back, he should have been ready to roll.
This depends on what type of person you are, fan boy, or fan of the sport.
When vic is approaching floyd that final time, Floyd with his hands up, Nods his head and leans in with vic, actually makes contact with vic as if to say okay okay, and then smack with the left hook.
when fighters touch gloves or embrace like that, due to a foul, the ref knows and the fighters both know they are both to take one full step back and that didnt happen, Vic stepped back Floyd didnt.
the post fight presser confirms this, as when Floyd was asked about it, he said what goes around comes around..... in other words admitting to fouling Ortiz.Comment

The ref that decided Ortiz shouldn't be disqualified for the head butt is the same one that decided Floyd did nothing wrong at the conclusion of the fight. It seems a bit skewed to accept his actions in one instance but not in the other.Comment

So wasn't Cortez wrong for not DQ'ing Ortiz after several warnings for headbutts?
If you're going to blame Cortez, why not create multiple threads blaming Cortez for not DQ'ing Ortiz for several blantant fouls instead of just deducting 1 point?Comment
