Well that's your right to give him no respect but with all due respect to you, you have no idea what he was able to see or how he felt. Either way, Cunningham is not the best CW in the world based on this fight.

why is everyone talking about the fake controversy of the long count? he was up before the ref's ten count(all that matters) and he was up before ten seconds elapsed in real time. the ref could have stopped the fight or he could have let it continue and he let it continue. that's the end of that. you can't after 6 rounds come back and say omg he should have stopped it. hernandez was being schooled and they stopped it on cuts that weren't even bleeding. the corner told the ref to stop it and he listened. that's corruption. the ref allowing cunningham to continue is just a judgement call and he apparently made the right call since cunningham was able to continue and school hernandez.

That is hard to say who is the best Lebedev could be the best Palacios could be too, they both should have world titles right now.

I'm only a fan of Tarver and Green as far as CW's go but If I had to say, Huck would get my vote I suppose. I think he would easily beat Cunningham now.

He maybe could, even though I think what happened was BS today Cunningham didn't look as sharp or as fast, he is after all what 35? Huck can if anything crack and I think he was only 19 or 20 when Cunningham beat him. That compounded with Cunningham's dodgy chin could result in a ko win for a matured more experienced Huck.

cunningham's daddy - poppa adamek says cunningham got a LITTLE bit longer of a count (and the fight should have been stopped because he "fell out" after trying to get up), but poppa adamek also says his son got a raw deal because the fight was stopped too soon, and his son was coming back.

When Cunningham went down I started counting 1000-1, 1000-2.... I did it four times and every time Steve got up right at the count of ten. So, there was no long count. The ref also did not start the count late because he actually did exactly what he was suppose to do. He made sure Hernandez was in his corner then looked at the time keeper who was counting and continued the count to ten. So on that part the ref got it right. However, fans on the forum are claiming the German corner stopped the fight when I actually believe it was the ref who stopped the fight. Why, who knows? With that said the scoring was bizarre to say the least and some may say Steve was winning. However, notwithstanding the bizarre ending in my opinion the fight was still very close.

cunningham's daddy, poppa adamek agrees - upon further review - the count wasn't long.. . but still a lot of refs would have stopped it either: 1.) when he fell back out after trying to get up around the 6 count, or 2.) when he got up right at 9 or 10, he was still woozy and wobbling. . . either way poppa adamek agrees that cunningham was on his way to a win.

Dude, first of all, you're cracking me up with that whole "Poppa Adamek" jazz... Secondly, I agree that the ref could easily have stopped the fight based on the facts you stated. However, as Spray Resistant pointed out, he didn't. It's also true that the fight was stopped based on a cut. Whether Cunningham was en route to victory is now relegated to the realm of pure conjecture.
