Sergio fought the dude in '98, it was Sergio's 3rd bout as a pro and the guy had a 3-6 record.

I already knew about him (it was early in his career and Martinez had no amateur experience at all) i was just wondering who this 7-34 fighter was he claimed existed. 3-6 seems like a far cry from 7-34. Many people consider Pacquaio as the best fighter pound for pound, and he was knocked out twice earlier in his career. Does that make him any less and does that have **** to do with what hes doing today? That's why its good for posters to make sure they have their facts straight.

couple of years ago, i say FLoyd has better chance. now, he is slowed down and more hittable. martinez punch is a lot harder so i would give the edge to martinez at higher weight say 154.
