The test itself is not a bad idea, but its just not feasible..the NSAC even stated they don't have the funds necessary to make it mandatory anyway.

I don't think any of us can actually judge the value of his test without being steroids/medical experts outselves. (i.e we have to know what the new testing would detect that the old one doesn't) - and from my understanding, the main benefit is that the new testing can detect HGH - the thing is that HGH on its own is apparently useless without other steroids which would be detected in the old test anyway. (just my understanding of it, thats all)

And in a world full of different PED's and scientists similar to Conte, and with atheltes like Bonds, Mcgwire, Jones, Mosely, Vargas, Toney and others who will take that advantage to be better, get fame, get riches, and be a ATG, i dont see why this hasnt happened already. McGwire, Jones, Mosley are good people but they cheated to get ahead. I wouldnt trust anyone especially someone who for some reason refuses to get tested

Have you considered the possibility that maybe he really does not like to have his blood drawn close to a fight? I mean he did go on record and state what blood tests did to him long before there ever were negotiaions with mayweather.

i believe is was travis tygart (usada ceo) who said usada would make a 2 week cutoff by itself ,unless they found something suspect in the earlier samples. in that case they would retest. so this fear cannot be based on any facts if pac is clean like he suggests. and if you put a contractual cut off, it would hinder usada and make the testing pointless. the whole point of the test is to be random ,so fighters never know what's the testing schedule.

According to Floyd, he will only face Manny if Manny agrees to testing up to the day of the fight. So, finally Manny agreed, but the commission overruled it. So what's your problem?

If it was that simple surely they would have implemented it already.

Everything you have thought of, the commission has probably thought of themselves and come to the conclusion that it just can't be done for whatever reason.

Again, talk to me about the effectiveness of HGH and other PEDS once you actually know how they work etc - there's no point in the 2 of us discussing it when I'm sure neither of us really knows how they work/ how they are used etc..

ok ok but you're changing the topic now. You asked why pac wanted a 14 day cut off and the answer was there - (because he feels weakened by blood tests - as do some other athletes, mind you)

If USADA does make a 2 week cutoff itself (as you suggest) then when pac agreed to the 2 week cut off, what exactly was the problem?

Do recall that the last time they had negotiations, everything seemed to have been agreed upon until mayweather went on vacation.

I am not confident in Manny really taking the drug testing.He made a big deal of it and made the world aware that he is scared of them,yet all of a sudden he isn't.....time will tell.
