For Floyd to say he is the best then try to fool you by taking on a guy who was just a couple of fights removed from his 130 weight by saying, "I'm taking on #2 P4P guy and beat him .... I must be great"

Only those who believe in the above nonsense would be giving Floyd any kind of credit for that fight.

Imagine, I would have given Oscar more credit in beating Manny than Floyd beating Marquez. At least Oscar came down in weight to make it fairer. Floyd had ALL the advantages and then some!

Yes is the answer. I give full credit to Mayweather because JMM had five months to train and adjust to what was coming due to the injury. I have more respect for JMM skills than many I see on this site. I think it is disrespectful to JMM to say Floyd was bigger etc. Floyd was the better fighter and proved it. Floyd is not a huge welter-weight. JMM could not deal with his skill. Plain and simple. Also, plenty of fighters jump weight divisions to fight other great fighters. Floyd's skill makes these fights mismatches.
