On paper Floyds resume looks quite pretty, but when you look at it more closely you have to take off deductions and then Floyds resume is pretty ordinary.

He gets no credit for beating hatton, because no fighter can get credit when the ref helps them. JMM was bloated. SSM old and lost 5 times already, and even DLH never performed well after losing to FLoyd so its all question marks against most of floyds wins.

can't give him the credit.. coming in 2 pounds heavier than the contracted weight is a b|tch move as the ortiz sucker punch..

yeah, i give him credit for beating marquez.

don't like him cheating at the weight when all odds were already on his favor though. he could have easily beaten marquez even without it, just like he could have easily beaten Oriz without resorting to the sucker punch.

Floyd outboxed JMM. That is the key concept, he showed that his skills were superior. JMM is a great boxer, excellent counterpuncher, so yes I give Floyd a lot of credit. If JMM were 3 inches taller and 10lbs heavier the result would have been the same.

Floyd will get no credit for his JMM win. Any top 10 WW would dominate JMM you could say, and no one could prove otherwise.

Thats the thing, rather than Floyd making it a fair fight from the outset, he and his fans hypothesize how Floyd would beat his opponents anyway. Just like when he unfairly beat hatton, Floydies say Floyd would have beat hatton even if Cortez was fair to Hatton.
                      Basically acknowledging Cortez cheated hatton!
Just make it an even playing field from the outset and make it fair, rather than say if it was fair, Floyd would win anyway. How ridiculous does that make Floyd look? I dont even think can begin to comprehend how much he has harmed his legacy.
