Why are you supporting Floyd if you believe he is ducking a deserving challenger?

Who has Pirog beat that he deserves a big HBO date? How about beating an actual top 10 opponent and actually PROVE you deserve to be in that spot. Not beat a 20 year old prospect and then follow it up by bum after bum. Pirog is the absolute definition of a paper champion.

That has nothing to do with my point. If you claim Pirog is nobody but then fight Barker you are full of **** bottom line. I have no problem with Martinez calling out any of those 3 at 154 but since that aint happening right now he mind as well fight the best willing and available opponents.

Yeah ok but who did Barker beat? At least Pirog has some name recognition from beating Jacobs and has a little buzz with the hardcore fans.

everyone is on pirog now, but they do not do the research, after pirog won the title he said he wanted to fight and defend the title in russia for a couple defenses, i think thats what he's done - for people to say martinez ducked pirog really turns me off because look at his last 5 or 6 fights - all champions! Bunema / Cintron / williams / pavlik / williams / dzinziruk - Pirog is very very good from the eyeball test, but name me someone of note that he has beaten (prospect jacobs?) who had no business fighting for a title? no one is on here speaking on how the wbc stripped him of his middle weight to hand deliver it to someone who is not even skill wise ready to defend it - all i see on this site are fans of specific boxers who have 0 knowledge of the game, and defend their favorite boxers when known facts are thrown their way - the game is dying and half you guys are the pallbearers!

naw, hopefully he's the real deal. him and golovkin are like the only real challenges at middleweight that are somewhat at the top. like i said before, pirog should take that fight against quillin, both guys would be deserving of a martinez shot imo. it'll probably land on an undercard on hbo, so either guy would get some exposure. it'd be a good buildup to a martinez showdown.

dude, you should've read my post that i replied to you in the previous page. the martinez camp said they're taking an easy fight after the dzinziruk win. i guess barker is it in their eyes. trust me, the martinez camp knows they have to step up their competition and fight the best availiable to stay relevant in the sport and remain in the top 5 p4p (or #3 spot where he's at now).

True, true. The middleweight division is at its lowest of all time, just like the heavies. JCC jr should be in there getting his ass beat by Sergio if you ask me.
