Sergio is a 154 fighter, he only moved up because nobody wanted to fight him. plain and simple. Forrest ducked him, while he was alive. Angulo refused to face him. lets keep it real. Martinez is king at 154 and 160 peroid.
and dispite what Dibella said about Pirog. Dibella tried to makes fights match Pirog against Manfredo or Ishe Smith on a Martinez undercard to bulid that fight but Pirog refused and chose to fight bums in Russia, so really who's ducking who. you gotta look at actions and not BS words.Comment

Martinez would end Cotto's career, PERIOD.
i hate it when fighters bring up money in situations like this, just to beat around the bush. Cotto already has made millions.
I can definitly respect the rematch, Cotto deserves it(!); but u dont have to bring up $5million, blah, blah, blah. Just leave it as redemption.
...Cotto should be trying to push his legacy, and he IS doing that by rematching Margarito, but like i said, zip-it with the $5mil bullshyt; and a fight with Martinez, win, lose, or draw, would definitly positivle effect his legacy. Fight the best, no excuses. $ will always b made/doubled after fighting the best
if he wins, i sincerly hope he fights Martinez!
