"Amir, I think you should call Floyd out again. I don't think Manny can handle all that heat. You're younger. If Floyd beats the crap outta you, Manny will fight you next. What do you think?"

Come on you don't buy that.

Firstly, I welcome the new toe-to-toe Mayweather, as a boxing fan it's more entertaining to watch, but I think it is borne out of necessity rather than through choice.

Think about it, he's 34 years old, for any sport where the competitor uses his legs the mid-thirties is the time when they slow down, look at Beckham for example, he can barely move anymore.

Secondly, endurance also takes a hit, so if he moves less he's conserving energy for the latter part of the fight.

The drawback of course is that when you stand toe to toe you get hit more and Floyd is no exception (despite being a defensive great), Ortiz tagged him a couple of times with shots FMJ would not have gotten hit with a few years ago.

Lastly, Roach was right, he called it early on.

All in all, Floyd is more exciting, but with that comes greater vulnerability.

And there were moments in the fight when Floyd was getting DOMINATED and not once was Ortiz ever dominated like that. Roach knows what time it is.

That's the same thing Floyd Sr said, and what I've said before. Sr said, why would he move around when he doesn't need to? He said Floyd will move around when he's forced to, and we all saw that he moved back in few occasions when Ortiz tried lunged in. Seriously though, what's the point of moving around constantly when you're fighting at long range? At 34 years old, he'll do what's necessary to conserve his stamina.

roach is OBVIOUSLY at a lost on how to "beat" mayweather.......

                  LOL @ headbutt him more............

the truth is mayweather showed his foot speed (legs) against JMM. he'll do the same against pac if he needs to, you're delusional if you think other wise.........i personally don't think he need legs against pac. it's best to stand RIGHT IN FRONT of pac & make him miss & counter him to death behind a great defensive shield.

mayweather would be looking to do just this.

So according to Roach the way to get Floyd mad and making him uncomfortable is by headbutting him? And here I was thinking any boxer would get annoyed by that, I guess is just me then...

                    Roach gameplan =
