Floyd by a 117-111/116-112ish UD. Bad style matchup for Martinez.

Just about all of Sergio's most recent fights have been against slow, come forward, immobile, face first slugger types. Mayweather would be the 1st opponent he's faced who he wouldn't have a significant speed advantage over, against Mayweather, Sergio's speed and agility advantage that he usually enjoys, would be negated.

I can see Martinez having his moments, but i doubt he'll be able to land with any consistency as he did with Williams, Pavlik & Dzinziruk who were all tailor made for his style of fight. Floyd is the complete polar opposite stylistically, to the type of opponent Sergio has usually had success against.

When Martinez is not being the "slick" counter-puncher and fights more offensively, he tends to be somewhat predictable. Mayweather would force him out of his game and make him be the aggressor, while pot-shoting and countering the living fuck out of him. Sergio would be figured out mid-way thru the fight, and from then on out it'll be nothing but...counters...counters everywhere.

And i don't see size being all that much of a factor, because Sergio doesn't use size and strength to win fights, if he tryed being overly physical and aggressive with Mayweather, he'd be fighting out of his element and that would work to Floyd's advantage. I doubt Sergio's style would be as effective if he was forced to be the aggressor. ESPECIALLY against Mayweather.

Sergio by UD or late KO. He has the size and knows how to use it effectively, and has good enough fundamentals to beat Floyd.

I like Floyd because I dont care how good you are, I just dont see anyone who keeps there hands down all the time beating him. Sergio keeps his hands down on his side. That wont work against Floyd

Floyd's power wouldn't faze his rhythm. Regardless of how much Floyd would tag him cleanly, Sergio would still find a way to impose his size advantage and overwhelm Floyd to a UD or late KO. If there is any weakness to Floyd's fighting ability, it's his inability to cause to damage to his opponents.

I think Sergio would win a hard fight to judge. Not too many landed IMO and a chess match.

Floyd wouldnt get hit much by Sergio but he would be hit enough, and cautious. Sergio would be hit but wouldnt be hurt.
