That is being too critical in my opinion. He has never dodged any fighter and if anything people dodge him.

He called out everyone, and I dont think many people are too eager to fight him right now because they will lose.

Oscar, Zab, Shane, Margarito, Tszyu, Hatton, Cotto you name them.

        He will beat them all.

I will say this in regards to floyd,I think theres an argument for his talents to be doubted at 140,because he hasnt fought the best at that weight.Personally i think hes just as good against most 140 top fighters,up to 147 more than likely.

I don't know if you can say "was he ever that good" because no one ever really said he was a great talent. People always said he was extremely exciting to watch, which is pretty undeniable.

But I agree with RWK, there are some people who grossly overrate him, especially since the Ward fights. If there was a time to overrate him, it would have been at 130 when he was IBF champ. He was incredibly exciting there and showed pretty good talent as well.

However, after moving up to 135 and going through the Robinson loses, fighting bums to get to DLH only to get destroyed, etc...there's pretty much a 3 year period where he didn't accomplish much.

The Ward trilogy allowed him to revitalize his career and gain new fans, but since then his skills have been overrated by some. He'll never have the skills he had as a kid at 130, but he still has the same heart and toughness. He's been incredible to watch and I think that's how he'll be remembered, never as a great skill guy, but a guy who had tons of heart and was really exciting to watch.

I'd love to see an Augustus Gatti fight.

That would be a treat to boxing fans everywhere.

Give each of them a Million bucks, put it in atlantic city, and televise it somehow.

Great for both of them, and great for boxing fans everywhere.
