Im Surprised at all the Bashing for a legend like JMM either way you slice it or dice it its not something to be proud of like Floyd Fan to be bragging what a Knockout, Its a ***** move you all know that, Im 100% sure Martinez,Marquez,Mosley or even Pacquiao wouldn't do a ***** move like that. What a way to celebrate a victoryComment

Juan Manuel Marquez has refused to back the actions of Floyd Mayweather Jr., who landed two punches on a defenseless Victor Ortiz to score a fourth round knockout on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. After landing a deliberate head butt on Mayweather, Ortiz was penalized a point by referee Joe Cortez. Ortiz, who apologized to Mayweather with a hug, is claiming that Cortez never signaled to resume fighting so his hands were both down when Mayweather "sucker punched" him a split second after the hug.

Cortez was paid off too... There is ABSOLUTELY no proffessional referee who's going to start the fight then turn his back on the fighters. L A M E L Y STAGED!!!!Comment

Don't forget the PACT between Oscar and Fraudy.... Oscar made Fraudy sign something like a 5 fight contract when Oscar gave Fraudy a shot to fight him. REMEMBER?? This fight was FAKE. A JOKE! Fans being used again.Comment

Amicable comment by JMM. Although I don't believe the fight should not count. Ortiz should have protected himself at all times. However if anyone in the entire arena needed to be fired that night is Joe Cortez. Although he did restart the fight.... He did it completely out of order where he was supposed to call time in first. The old fart is senile and was already being left for the least important fights. How the **** did he get to referee this job?
Anyone remember him letting Floyd elbow hatton in the face repeatedly over and over all while only calling Hatton on some much milder attempts to equal the rough housing?
Or him disqualifying Humberto Soto for a punch which was clearly not flagrant but accidental, after the fighter had gone down and clearly just did not want to continue. 5 whole minutes after everyone thought the fight was over with a Soto Victory.
Hell in the UK the first thing Wayne McCullough mentioned was his disagreement with Cortez being referee and him being on the shady end of COrtez's poor refereeing many years before.Comment
