Cortez siad "Let's Go" a then clapped his hands to bring them back to the center of the ring. Victor would have been justified to hit Floyd at that point cause the fight was back on.

To make it clear if Vic did it these clowns on here will be jumping for joy but if its Floyd its all wrong.Vic can butt multiple times and no one talks about it.Even Larry Merchant tried to put a positive spin on Victors headbutts.Its disgusting the level of hate and animosity to the guy where people want see reality.

IMO Cortez is on the leevel of Mora...both should be gone...hope JMM does well but if you look close there's a bigh physical diff btwm him & pac but who knows...funny PAC always is fighting the over-the-hill crowd...Floyd'll clock his butt...

cortez screwed it up... his job is to protect each fighter & have a clean fight. lets just ASSUME both fighters are dirty... its cortez' job to make sure BOTH dont have a CHANCE to ruin a good fight. with a proper ref, each fighter wouldve still been at neutral corners while talking to the timekeeper. then once full attention is back on the fight, resume.

cortez' half-asz "lets go" (and look the other way) was LAME.

Yeah, Clottey, Hatton, Cotto and Margarito are all ancient. Floyd is going to be in a corner crying to uncle Roger if he ever steps in the ring with the midget....let him try that sucker punch stuff against him....and eat a raging 10 punch combo in return.

Just don't try to make it sound like Manny had a hard time against Mosley, for example. Even with a possible leg problem, he took Mosley apart. If I remember correctly, Mosley was doing better against Floyd, even later in the fight. May need to see his and Manny's fight again, but I remember him being seemingly in awe with Manny. Manny may not be near the BOXER Floyd is, but I could see him KO Victor - cleanly(a small knock on Floyd there, as he was blatantly fouled and Cortez wasn't fair and firm at all...). Manny could bust up and KO Floyd with his speed and power, and Floyd should outbox Manny(with maybe a small chance of a KO). Hope the fight happens, so all this talk could be put to rest already.

Well said. At 70(if I heard correct), he's seemingly simply too old to do a proper job at all times. A ref needs to be sharp, always.

Those 10 punches have a slim to none chance of connecting, but yeah, that fight should be awesome to watch If he's just a juiced up midget with bad skills, get the fight done already!
