but cortez screwed up big time. not the first time either in a big fight.

cortez is also bull****ting about how he supposedly re-started the fighters.

go look at what he's doing when the punches occured. cortez was talking to people outside of the ring and not even looking at the fighters.

if he had restarted them , why is he not paying attention to them.


what floyd did might not be sportsmanlike but it wasn't illegal.

victor was a dumbass doing something he wasn't suppose to do in the middle of a fight and got clocked for it.

but most of the blame for how that fight ended is because of cortez.

Marquez is completely right on this. Cortez said lets go but he was talking about getting them into the center of the ring. At no point did he say "Fight!" or "Lets fight!"

It was a hoe move by Floyd and he should've been disqualified or Ortiz should've at least been given 5 minutes.

It was a terrible end to a competitive fight. One of the worse endings in boxing history for sure.

what jmm is probably saying is cortez ****ed up big time. he did restart the fight but not properly. he restarted it by looking away. doesnt mean he's at fault for ortiz having his hands down, but all these things came into play to give us one of the worst ****ed fights in history.

Ortiz fought a very dirty fight the whole fight. There was 3 headbutts in round 4 not just one.. Floyd was pitching a shutout and well on his way to a 7th or 8th round stoppage. Stop tryna make controversy where there was none.
