Floyd cheap shot mayweather. he did it against gatti, mosley and now ortiz. dude is just a scumbag. he will do anything to win. elbows, turn his back, cheap shots, xycolain. Dirty.

i cant wait for the pac fight if it happens . but i know floyd wont risk going in against pac. look what he does to win. he will never risk the chance of losing.

Stop tryna make controversy where there was none.
Man your right on point!!Im a big Mayweather fan and hate the way it ended cause even though Vic was trying to step it up Floyd was breaking him down. But no one wants to mention that Cortez signaled BOTH FIGHTERS to the middle of the ring and said LETS GO!!! Which is what he always says when he restarts a fight. You dont tell the fighters lets go then turn and look at the time keeper and ask if the bell rung.Cortez was sloppy in doing his job.Was Floyd supposed to wait for Ortiz to put his hands up,Floyd had his up!!Bottom line it was ugly but the man did nothing wrong.

By Cortez, by the comission, by Ortiz' weird manager I can't remember his name, Robert Garcia etc.

Had Ortiz defended himself like he's supposed to there would be no issue.
Next time Cortez calls himself "fair and firm" should be sickening to hear...Guy needs to go NOW!

Way to try to make Floyd look awesome and Manny pathetic with your avatar, by the way. Another sad creature... They're both great.

Let me ask you this. Have you ever seen Victor backing up and running away? Cause I never seen him doing that and why do you think he was headbutting, rabbitt punching and throwing low blows? He was taking the punches well but he was also starting to swell up. No way he was going to continue to get hit like that with totally breaking down. Floyd was clearly breaking him down. He totally neutralized Ortiz main weapons and was catching him cleanly at will. Floyd was running a clinic on Ortiz.

I respectfully disagree with marquez. The ref brought them to the center of the ring they touched gloves time was in. If you want you could blame the ref for I guess not being absolutely clear and turning his back on the action but other than that...

Cortez siad "Let's Go" a then clapped his hands to bring them back to the center of the ring. Victor would have been justified to hit Floyd at that point cause the fight was back on.

Fair enough. But, are you saying fighters with swollen faces can't be dangerous? Victor could see fine, and could have caught Floyd on the ropes. Not saying Victor wasn't a fool in there... The ending was crap, and anti-climactic

Marquez didnt hear the ref because he was probably drinking his 3rd glass of urine.

he punched him a split second after he gave him a hug. floyds mentality was to punch him as soon as he retracts. Thats low even if it happened in a street fight. legal but low.

but what else would you expect from floyd mayweather.

I have to disagree with JMM on this one; Cortez (terrible ref IMO) did motion for them to box. As for tyhe guy asking whether Ortiz has ever been seen on the backfoot? well I refer you to the maidana fight.. the only time I've ever seen Ortiz show any heart was against the overrated Berto.
