Your pathetic excuse and reply reflects pure ignorance, but it's ok that's why I'm here to school you.
Hahahahahaha... you can look at Pacquiao's record for yourself mate. There are some very good fighters on the list before Barrera, most with winning or often unbeaten records.

However, even if - in your opinion - there isn't good fighters prior to '03, he then goes on to beat Barrera twice, win a trilogy against Morales, and better Juan Manuel Marquez - all P4P elites in their primes at their best weights. That is something Mayweather just doesn't have (although he too has a stellar record).

But go ahead, school me. Bring up fighters like Sahaprom and claim Pacquiao ducked them. I mean, whilst Pacquiao ducked him, Sahaprom was schooling guys with 5-5-0 and 22-25-2 records. What a super star. Can't believe Pacquiao avoided that.

7/10 for your attempted troll though.

But it had zero effect on Oscar...right, *******?

Stop kissing Manny's ass, and tell us who those fighter are and what they have accomplished?

If you don't know what the hell your talking about because you only came here after reading Boxingrec, then say that. I don't need to look at Manny's record, because I've been following the sport a lot longer than 1996 to know who was doing what.

        FYI

Toshiaki Nishioka craps on any of Manny's first 40 victims.

Its pretty undisputable that Top Ranks strategy for the past few years is to beat fighters more convincingly than Mayweather did. Freddie Roach himself said as much before they fought Mosley, which was someone he was, on camera, quoted as saying he didn't want Pacquiao to go up against.
Pacquiao was the #1 P4P not Mayweather before he beat DLH.

the best fighters imo that he beat prior to fighting barrera were:

chatchai sasakul - was the current WBC flyweight and lineal champion when pac beat him. pac was only 19 years old when he beat sasakul.

Lehlohonolo Ledwaba - was the current IBF super bantamweight champion and was a rising star in the super bantamweight division when pac beat him on two weeks short notice.

Jorge Eliecer Julio - two time world bantamweight champion and was also a bronze medalist in the 1988 summer olympics.

Sasakul was the best flyweight in the world at the time Pacquiao beat him.

Pacquiao had no business winning that fight but he did.

Chatchai Sasakul reign at Flyweight nowhere near the reign of Sahaprom, and Manny got KO'D the very next fight.

The Lehlohonolo Ledwaba fight was in 2001, and the fight took place after Floyd destroyed Diego Corrales and was 2 fights away from cleaning out the 130 division.

Jorge Eliecer Julio was already shot, but nice try.

chatchai sasakul was the best flyweight at the time when pac knocked him out. sahaprom was a bantamweight champion lol. pac never fought at bantamweight. also pac didn't get KO'ed right after he won the title. he lost the title in his second defense.

there's no denying that ledwaba was still a good win for pac at super bantamweight. ledwaba may not have been on the same star level as corrales but it was a good fight to introduce american fight fans to pacquiao since at that time he was relatively unknown in the u.s. also, ledwaba was a world champion at super bantamweight and had 5 successful title defenses before pac completely destroyed him on two weeks short notice.

also julio was on the tail end of his carrer, i agree, but it was still a nice name to have on pac's resume at the time.
