he was the agressor in the fight, agressors usually leave them selves more open! (ie.. PAC MAN) when floyd doesnt get hit hes usually in counter punching/defensive mode! but then people complain, then he opens up and people criticize, does anyone understand boxing here?

I didn't come away from the fight thinking Mayweather got hit more.

However, I did come away thinking that Lampley was a bit off and the crowd was getting excited over nothing most of the time.

The guy has slowed down, it's natural, doesn't matter what sport you're in, the legs don't work the same in the mid-thirties, see any soccer player as an example.

He is fighting a different style & planting feet more, sitting down on his punches. You moan when he's mobile & on the defensive & say he is running.
You moan when he trades & say his legs are shot.

Quit hating you knob, still butthurt he sparked Hatton out.

Read it again, I said hard shots. And not many people count compubox. If I recall he landed 0 jabs so that means he got hit with 6-7 power shots per round. Normally he gets hit with a jab and that adds to the statistic, but in this case it was powershots.

lol. Even on the ropes he was getting hit when he was being defensive. Thats the point.

This- the HBO team was way off calling the fight. I don't know if it was anti-Floyd as much as it was just them trying to hype the kid (Ortiz) up to the casual viewer.

Either way, different fight on mute.

I assume when he fights anyone half decent who is youngish he will get hit a bit.

Thats why he took the sucka punch opportunity when it presented itself, he dont get paid for overtime.

Who's moaning? I'm just calling it how it is, he doesn't have the same mobility he used to so he's forced to stand in front of his opponent.

                    *Mayweather lands right hand*

                    Lampley: "Left hand by Ortiz!!!"
