Don't really like Floyd outside the ring, and I think this fight ended like crap. That being said, I see there seem to be a lot of people on here who have never boxed before because if they had they would know that you PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES!!! I didn't see Cortez say "fight" but he did say "let's go". What more do you want? People weren't crying when Floyd cracked Mosley like that, but I guess that's because he didn't knock Shane out.

I guess not, think of it guys, maidana, a hard hitting badass just make him quit but did not k.o. him, berto who is a well known knockout artist knocked him down twice but did not k.o. him.. then suddenly floyd??? floyd? floyd? floyd? "Featherhands" gayweather just automatically knocked the hell outta him with a sucker punch?

think of it guys, think of it...

By the way thats what happen when you join the show of the fake representative of the RED,White, and Blue.. What a shame
The reason why 2+2 does not = 4 for you, is because you have no idea what you are talking about.

In the fourth round, Ortiz had Mayweather backed up against the ropes and was throwing punches, but then used he intentionally fouled Mayweather with his head. Ortiz lost a point but then went over to hug Mayweather and touch gloves, when Ortiz backed away from the hug and looked for a split second at referee Joe Cortez, Mayweather unleashed two big shots to knock him out.

Mayweather ain't cheated Ortiz - he cheated himself out of an great performance because he was putting in one. As Ortiz went into the corner after the second round he was done. You saw it in his eyes and he was already breathing heavy... he tried to in the 4th but he got frustrated and headbutted him intentionally, he tried twice before - Cortez took a point for him and took them both back to the middle of the ring and made the gesture of fight on... he then looked to the bell keeper I guess... I think Mayweather lost it a bit there... BOTH men were hitting all night right with breaking the clinches... so Mayweather did it here too and I can't feel much sorry for Ortiz... he started it and it wasn't even unfair... I think no one can argue about the legality of the punch it is about the sportmanship and class that can be argued... and I won't defend him on that part but I also say if somebody would headbutt me intentionally I don't know If I wouldn't try to get back - we are all human beings and make mistakes...

By the way after the head butt you now know why Floyd always has his elbows up - because of stuff like this...

Sad thing is that BOXING won't win any new fans through stuff like that...

Well... on the other hand the world NOW screams for a big hero to beat up dirty and evil Floyd *lol* this fight is going to be huge and even got bigger - I think he finally was able to piss everyone off and now really everyone will wants to see how he gets beat... bring it on :-) Still have him beating Pacquiao hands down and becoming the best fighter of his era with this win :-)

Ortiz was dirty for inflicting an intentional Headbutt But no ones saying anything about that! Its PROTECT yourself at all times. Ortiz wanted to kiss Mayweather took his eyes off Mayweather. ORTIZ GOT WHAT HE DESERVED!

Everything that happened was legal and have many have stated it is "protect yourself at all times". However, it was still a classless move that led to some cheap shots by Floyd. I don't think he should've thrown those punches, because imo Floyd would've dominated the fight easily enough and probably would've gotten the Ko in the later rounds. With this PPV being so expensive, I feel the fight shouldn't have ended the way it did.

Having said that, I fault Victor Ortiz more than anybody else (Cortez/Floyd). I'm tired of Ortiz, the guy just ain't mentally tough and I question if he should keep boxing. Maybe he needs to join his brother's company or something. I can't understand why he let himself get choked out in one of the press conferences and then yesterday after he butts Floyd, he starts apologizing and kissing Floyd? Then after it was clear the fight was back on he is still trying to hug and apologize to Floyd? The guy is in a damn fight, get to it! What's even more sickening to me is the way he's smiling at the end of the fight and high fiving all of Floyd's entourage. To make it worse, he shows no sign of being upset of what went down or the fact that he lost the fight. He has a smile on his face talking about how they gave people a good show. No you didn't Ortiz, cause no one wanted to see the fight end like that. I lost the little respect I had for the guy and I don't think I'll watch him fight again for the time being and I know for damn sure I won't pay for it. At least he didn't mention how he was abandoned when they interviewed for the final time.

WTF is peoples problem. This is FIGHTING. Not grab ass or MMA. Look what happened to Mosley when he tried to grab ass? Mayweather punched him. Ortiz has a weak ass chin. Dude was rocked the same way Mosley was for trying to kiss and make up... Shyts annoying... kiss and make up AFTER the fight. Ortiz's bytch ass cheated and wanted to say sorry? Sorry? STFU and fight...

NOBODY wants to see "im sorry".... wtf is people's problem... Floyd was in the right and beat him fair and square.
