ADMIT IT: This Fight is A LOT Bigger Than You Expected!!

I'm surprised because a few weeks ago I thought it might do about a million but the buzz has picked up immensely.

I remember telling people back then that Golden Boy/May Promo have learned that you have to back-load these promotions.

It made no sense to spend any money in August when everybody was locked in to the NFL season and their fantasy teams, and getting kids back-to-school, etc.

So, they waited until after Labor day, then BOOM!

I think the AMOUNT of coverage has been fine. But the CNN thing was a bit underwhelming. Also, I don't think Floyd did a very good job selling the fight on Conan. Oscar/Victor were better on Piers Morgan.

There are also HUGE opportunities to improve activation.

but I have seen commercials on ESPN all this week, I have heard many Radio Commercials for this fight, also they have Ads on Websites that receive A LOT OF TRAFFIC Daily

also ESPN been pushing and talking about the fight...not sure what more some of you want, I think it is just some people who WANT this PPV to fail so bad because they hate Mayweather

It has been on CNN every hour or so, that's certainly something I've never seen before. Like I said, the numbers will almost certainly prove I'm in the minority as far as how hyped I am.

The commercials have been on CNN?

I saw 24/7 on CNN for the first time last night.

The 24/7 kick-off was damaged by the Hurricane...and then the GOP debates and Jobs Act took all the air out of the room at CNN.

I'm on college football, and don't really see any ads. Maybe they are counting on the HBO FightDay Live.

The improved technology is providing many more of what we called "demand signals".

I wish I had access to that, and I'm gonna send a note to KS.

I'm exhausted from staying up all night celebrating the Detroit Tigers winning their division, and having to work this morning. That being said, I'm dying to see this fight. I don't know why. At first I thought Ortiz was going to get worked, but I have a feeling we might see something special tonight. Hopefully Floyd pulls it off, for the great state of Michigan!

They did a good job cause everybody forgot how bad ortiz can look at times. But ortiz helped by making berto look garbage. Ortiz has a chance but the longer the fight goes the less of a chance i give him
