Quite correct. I remember reading a breakdown of training shares when MannyP was doing the deal with The Roach and it was anything from 3% up to 10%. The Roach insited on the max 10%, and said he wouldn't take less. He had already ensured himself of Pacquiao's loyalty through the fact that he had already won 2 fights with The Roach.

This is why that, since then, I have always had a strong dislike to him. He took advantage of Pacquiao's trust to push himself an unfair deal. MannyP was already a top fighter earning large multimillion $ purses and 3-4% would have been ample. MannyP has made him famous, and a multimillionaire.

Pac made his first $1 million payday against Erik Morales and unless my math is as bad as your delusions, Pac has not fought 40 fights since the first fight against Morales.
damn... are u that idiot or just plainn simple dumb i said x 40 cuz a dollar in the philippines is 40+ pesos.. IDIOT!!

You're talking your usual wild unsubstantiated rubbish. If I listened to you, I'd expect half of the boxing world to be led away in handcuffs at any moment.

There are lots of ways to get around paying income tax like GE didn't pay **** in taxes last year and you can believe that Arum knows the same tricks and hooks Pac up with that. If Floyd was smart he would get a small guarantee upfront like Pac and make most of it in PPV revenues which is off the record and he can put in a overseas account.

The IRS is getting 1/3 of Floyds money straight up and if he dont pay hes gonna end up like wesley snipes, aka federal prison

When its all said and done, Pac makes more per fight than Floyd. Fact.
STFU stop acting like you are knowledgeable, because you don't know squat.
Fighters have to pay taxes and report the entire sum of earnings not just the guaranteed contract amount.
Also stop acting like you know Floyd's finacial situation beyond the rumors you hear on boxingscene.
Anybody who owes big tax money has liens and wage garnishments placed on them.
Floyd still owns all his property and never had any garnishments so I'm sure his tax problems are exaggerated by the media.
Just admit that you are mad and upset that Floyd keeps winning all the way to the bank.

About 4-5 times that amount, I believe. Probably gross total.

So I guess his uncle trainer, Al Haymon, Leonard Ellerbe, his promoter, bodyguards, mountain dew pourer and the IRS just work for handjobs?

When its all said and done, Pac makes more per fight than Floyd. And dont forget about Pac's numerous sponsors around the world compared to ZERO for Floyd. Well, except for lottery soda.

This is the dumbest post on the entire thread and proof positive that *******s are so delusional that, if Bob Arum and Pac told you the Easter Bunny was real, you would all knock your own teeth out so you could put them under your pillow at night, expecting the Easter Bunny to leave you a dollar.

Forbes listed Pacquiao as 24th highest paid athlete in the world for 2011. Look it up! Manny was guranteed 20mil plus PPV upside for Cotto and Margarito fights. Read my other post on his gurantees. Stop stinking up this site, fool, with your rubbish!

I'm sorry to suggest to you that he more than likely gets a far higher share of the PPV share, possibly anything up to 70-80% of what's left over after the PPV network take their 45-50%.

I think it's 50%. Someone on here will probably know.
