Floyd on the prefight show of Taylor-Hopkins 1, was asked by bob Costas about Miguel Cotto and he said "Mi-Mi-Miguel Cotto you know he is a decent fighter, bu-bu-but he is too green, maybe down the road".

And then after that, we all know the gazzillion excuses he has made to not fight Cotto, we all know that I dont have to post them all again.

Ducked Williams? Are you serious? Miguel Cotto fought Michael Jennings for Williams title that he vacated because he could not get a fight at WW. Cotto ducked Williams BIG TIME. Didn't fight Paul for his title but earned it through fighting a weak contender for it.

Malignaggi and Quintana? Floyd is light years better than them fighters. Why would Cotto beating them bad make him nervous? Cotto has been rocked, wobbled or out on his feet for almost all of his big fights. Floyd was/is the most accurate boxer/fighter in the sport. I respect Cotto because of his attitude but I have been watching him for a long time and I have never been convinced that he was a threat to Floyd. No defense and when he could not hurt a fighter with his punch, Cotto would look discouraged and lost in the ring.

Nah homie, lets not go there by insulting my intelligence. Arum said Cotto was too green and Floyd followed suit because that was the excuse Arum used to block the fight in 05. Do I really have to post what Arum said again? He said MAYBE in 06 Cotto would be ready for Floyd Or Hatton. Hatton? Hatton's people said that they weren't ready for Floyd after he beat Gatti AND Cotto wasn't even ready for Ricky either.
