For those who say Cotto never called him out you're partially right but when asked about Floyd Cotto responded that Floyd was a fighter who avoided the tough fights and that he was available to fight all the big names in boxing. When Floyd was asked about Cotto after Hatton when the fight was in high demand he said I want to retire from boxing I dont want boxing to retire me.

So Floyd wanted to fight Cotto in 05 when he saw Cotto get rocked by Corley and Torres. But when he saw Cotto dominate Malignaggi and Quintana he said *** it.

I know for a fact Cotto aint scared of Floyd. Cotto its a fighter with no fear in him and I am sure he always wanted to fight Mayweather. But the fact is Arum was scared to make that fight happen. He invested to much money on Cotto and he never wanted to risk it thats how he does business. and Margarito Cotto wasnt what they thought it was goin to be. As long as Arum beleives there is a chance for his fighter to lose he wont risk it, unless he already maid enough money with them n feels its time to cut his loses short.
I am sure floyd will never duck a big fight. and the reason is cause he its the best active Boxer in the world and top 5 all time.
