No I'm not a physician but I come from a medical and legal family, and was in Medical School until "half" when I was a kid, in fact I was too young. Many of my friends and close relatives were also doctors. My first cousin, with whom I grew up, and studied with, was a ring doctor. Three uncles also. Besides I boxed myself for years, and was medically checked over probably more in 1 year than you'll be in your lifetime.

Vitali, judging from the fight was not in his skill prime either, he was in his physical prime but he was throwing lots of punches each around and landing at only around 30 percent while lewis was landing at 40-50 percent of his shots throwing less

Good point, He wasn't worried about it and he didn't even scar from it. A little more abuse would have not changed much. The fight could have continued and when it couldn't, Vitali deserved a rematch.

When Floyd was fighting at 140 he called Both hatton and cotto out and they both avoided the fight,Only Arturo Gatti had the balls to fight Floyd at 140.


By the time Hatton grew the balls to fight Floyd Floyd could no longer make 147.
