but he landed cleaner and hurt mccloskey even if he did miss a lot of his punches. most punches in a fight will not land clean. those important punches that do land clean and effect your opponent are the most important. those belonged to prescott throughout the fight.

Honestly i dont even like McCloskey, I wanted Prescott to win so he could fight Khan. I thought it shouldve been a draw and they should just fight again.
clean hard punches are worth a lot more than blocked or deflected punches that partially get through.

everyone knows punches after the bell are worth twice as much.

He landed a left hook which hurt a clearly tired, out on his feet McCloskey who had outlanded him the rest of the round.

I dunno why im pandering to you, you're probably wanking over the attention you're getting. This is your only form of contribution to this forum afterall. I outta slap myself for being ****** into this.

Prescott KNEW he had to either clearly dominate or KO McCloskey. He couldn't, therefore he lost. It was a close fight, Prescott wasn't good enough to make sure it wasn't. Career over for Prescott.
If you are judging fights objectively, you know like its supposed to be judged location should not matter because its not a criteria of scoring.

mccloskey did not outland him in clean punches that round. you must not know what a clean punch is. prescott landed 7 to 8 head snapping shots in the round. prescott landed maybe 3 to 4 and a bunch of other punches that were mostly blocked(aka not clean) just throwing punches at your opponents guard is not worth as much as sneaking a punch through your opponents guard. actually landing a clean punch is much harder thus it's emphasized in the official scoring criteria.

I thought Prescott won quite clearly.

There was a few swing rounds that could of made it closer on the cards for McCloskey but i don't think he done enough to get a win, maybe a draw at most imo.

Prescott proved to me he actually had some boxing ability and McCloskey showed he had heart and determination by making a good comeback in the second half of the fight.

I like them both a bit more now. They made a good fight, i hope there is a rematch.
