    hmm

    Hamed's comp was in no way shape or form on par with Jones'. It may not have been bad, but it wasn't on par with Roy's, as much as ppl like to dis Roy for it.

    Hill, Castro, Woods, Ruiz, Tarver, MCallum, Paz, Toney, Hops...better than Hamed's.

      OK... Who has Tyson beat that is of better quality than Razzor Ruddock?

      Who is the best opponent that Mike Tyson has beaten?

        Tyson early in his career was not myth. Yes, he was fighting carefully selected competition, but his style of fighting was crisp and effective.

        Hamed was no myth.

          Yeah but we can dissect that just like everything else, and you know this...MAN!!!

          Maybe not "on par", but Hameds competition was by no means poor.

          Hill = old
          Toney = weight drained
          Hopkins = green
          Paz = old&blown up
          Woods = average
          McCallum = old
          Ruiz = worthless
          Castro = castro

          just to play devils advocate here...

            hmm

            I never thought it was poor, but no way is it on par with Roy's. Roy's fought a good list of who's who in boxing HOF'ers and he fought longer than Hamed as well. Maybe if Hamed had fought longer, but he didnt. I could hard on Hamed's opp as it stands though.

              give me a break
              roy beat those fighters, and the conditions dont matter. i dont get why people try to rip on roys comp. so toney was weight drained
              roys fault?
              no, so roy shouldnt be penalized for it.
              his lever of comp is good

              btw, calling ruiz worthless is not an educated statement
              you may not like him, but ruiz has been fihgitng title fights for the past 18 years, his last 16 fights have been for a title
              hes doing something right

                PBF...do you know what devil's advocate means? It means don't take what Gringo said so seriously? He was just making the case for Hamed whether he believes it or not.

                Devil's advocate.

                  Hamed beat:

                  Medina
                  Johnson
                  Kelley
                  Vazquez
                  McCullough
                  Bungu

                  and for the most part cleaned out that division. Hameds level of comp was on par with Jones' comp.
                  that resume is nothing to brag about
                  bottom line is when hamed stepped up, he got beat, and proved that he wasnt all he was hyped up to be
