but theres no way to prove that because hamed face NOBODYS his entire life until that fight. tyson fought the best of his time, and its not his fault they ******, i agree with you on tyson, but hamed trained for the barrera fight and got his ass beat. saying that roy jones was run of the mill and hamed was not is just ******.
roy jones is a great fighter, talent wise

Who is a mythical fighter that ended up being run of the mill. That's hard to say. Most fighters that were ever seen as mythical never ended up being so bad as to be called run of the mill.

I guess that means I have no answer.

and for the most part cleaned out that division. Hameds level of comp was on par with Jones' comp.

Curry looked like he had everything a perfect fighter needed. Good power in both hands, good combination punching behind a good jab, good technique, defensively adept, could take a punch, good countering skills etc...

Suddenly it just went south on him. I've never really inquired as to why it happened though.

McCallum ran through Curry, but then again McCallum ran through a lot of guys.
