True. But floyd went into cruise control. No disrespect to JMM but this weight class seems to big for him.

This is could be valid however my point is it's difficult if not impossible to conclude simply by watching Mayweather/Jmm.

With that said, considering how much experience JMM already has with Pac's speed. Which is the #1 problem fighters have when facing him(adjusting to punches they have difficulty seeing coming and anticipating).. The fact that he matches up so well with Pac already, I think the weight will take a backseat to styles in determining the winner of this. With that said I still have Pac to win, just not by blowout.

Floyd definitely went into cruise control, but we don't really know how he would have fared if he wasn't on his back foot in cruise control. Had he come forward to finish the job, it would have given JMM more opportunities to capitalize on.

The way Mayweather fought the fight, it completely made it impossible for JMM to utilize his abilities. Considering style matchups for Pac/JMM, I really don't think weight will be the end all be all.

Good posts. I just think Manny will have too much power at this weight. Without having to train to make weight, manny can focus training defense and balance, which will make him more accurate and powerful than the 1st 2 fights.

Do you think we'll finally see Pacquiao and Jmm getting cuts again? What's your current prediction for the fight outcome.

No. I am leaning toward pac early KO because its above 140. If it was at 135 I'd favor JMM. If it was 140 I'm thinking FOTY and FOTD potential.

Marquez has been slipping for a while now. Gaining fat didn't help before and it won't help now.

He hasn't been the same since moving to 135+.

It wasn't that Mayweather dominated him. It's how slow and weak and how bad his reflexes were. The moment in the second round when Marquez hit Floyd with his best shot, and Floyd smiled and put him down with a lazy left hook, told me all I needed to know. Marquez cannot handle legit speed and power that high in weight.
