Like most old members, Poet once was a dedicated poster who was willing to introduce new content and have a serious argument. Like most old posters he got over the hill and fell into pits of trolling.

Ahh well, if I looked like him. I'd be bitter too. He's been driven stark raving mad by his resentment and jealousy of the Klitschko brothers.

Honestly nothing against Jab though I disagree with him on many issues but the history section is just obscene sometimes.

I respect what these old fighters did, they are basically pioneers of the sport but times change and a lot of these old heavyweights just wrestled & had no real boxing ability.

People really should give the brothers the respect they deserve. They have broken just about every single record out there already. It'll never be repeated.

They said the likes of Eddie Chambers & David Haye was way too fast for Wlad. Wlad was slow, clumbsy etc & I said ''I do believe Hayes faster but Wlad is very fast & athletic for a guy of his size, the speed difference will not be a factor in the fight & it's no good if you can't get in range''

Apparently I was wrong, Wlad was just as quick as both guys if not faster! And he barely lost a round against either guy. Both guys mentioned are technically leagues ahead of these old fighters & twice the size.


I just don't see how any old timer would even remotely give either brother problems.

TBH if I am being totally honest to myself I think Vitali especially would of destroyed the likes of Patterson, Ali, Frazier, Norton, Foreman.

The guy can not be outboxed, he can not be K.O'd, the only way any of them would win is via a freak injury.
If Vitali walked through Lewis's best shots & make no mistake about it, Lewis was a lot bigger, more athletic & a crisper puncher than most/all those guys, I fail to see any of them having much effect.

The only guy I see in his prime giving Vitali big problems & making a close, competitive fight is a prime Larry Holmes who was an exceptional fighter.

The history forum is a joke because the moderators don't possess an ounce of objectivity and have decided to try and create an alternative boxing history that at best ignores and at worst denigrates the Klitschkos and other European heavyweights.

You are making a huge assumption here, I never fell into pits of nuthuggery...I dug them out for others to fall. I was one of maybe 5 original klitschko fans on this source.
Nonetheless "nuthuggery" is much more purposeful then trolling, which is a form of deep depression anyway.

Actually nuthugging represents everything I despise in sports fans. And have ALWAYS despised. BTW, I never met a Klitschko "fan" that was even remotely objective about them ie they're all nuthuggers.

By tougher you obviously mean terrible defensive ability and reflexes eroded by habitual alcohol and drug use?
