Mayweather ruined his argument again with that comment about Pacquiao not being a great fighter before he was 25, he was a great fighter before that and has become even better. Don't compare Mayweather and Ali, he isn't anywhere near as charismatic and funny as Ali was. Also it's easy to make bold predictions but Mayweather knows Pacquiao is an amazing fighter who can beat him.

I can tell you missed my point completely. Ali is loved by many NOW. Do you understand NOW? Of course you can. Cuz you just called Ali charismatic and funny. But back THEN. THEN in his prime. He was not loved by everyone. Especially the pro-vietnam crowd. Yes, he had supporters as well. College students and the civil rights supporters. But a lot of people did not like his ****y attitude. The sports writers of the time did not like him. Kind of like the sports writers of today hating on Floyd.

And are you trying to say Floyd doesn't have charisma? If Floyd did not have charisma or if he wasn't funny he'd have some boring 24/7 episodes. Yet he's the highlight of the entire show. When he speaks everyone listens whether they hate him or love him.

like u say, Manny dominates plodders who stand in front of him. Fighters like Leonard, Ali etc, found their peak early i terms of technigue. Ali was never the same after the lay off, yet his chin seemed to improve because he was prepared to take the punches. He was floored by Cooper and Jones, yet later took shots from Frazier, Shavers and Foreman.
Leonard relied on his speed, and movement, and as he got older wasnt quite the same.
Duran was undisiplined, and had to move up because of his weight, yet he did get technically better, unfortunatly losing to great fighters, and being sloppy.

Pac has obviosuly improved technically, yet is also a very dedicated athlete. He has fought the right opponents, that although bigger are easier to hit, and his speed and style mean he can out punch them, and out work them.
Speed kills. And styles make fights.

How is Floyd able to still dominate his opponents by throwing less, fighting less, moving less, yet still dominating bigger men at WW?
It comes down to technique and intelligence. Speed, timing, tactics.
