The new kid has only been at the gym for about 3-4 months only sparred a couple times. The mma guy tagged the kid a lil bit nothing too hard just a couple good shots but then he starts talking like is there anyone in here that can give me some competition and is getting real loud. We have 3 Golden Glove winners at our gym and while he is saying this are coach looks at one of them and just nods at him lol so the Golden Glove winner starts sparring this loudmouth and just starts knocking the **** out of him drops him in like 15-20 seconds.

I know exactly what you mean. I don't even like to use the term "bum". As far as I'm concerned, any man that has the stones to step into a ring with another man -- especially if it's professional -- deserves to be respected.

I trained at my local gym on and off for 5 years. Then I damaged my shoulder and that put an end to that.

It hurts even doing press-ups now. I have to be extra careful.

I remember when I first sparred. I went up against this guy who was much older and more experienced than me. Man did I get whooped. It was pretty bad. I don't know if the trainer wanted to weed out the weak or not, but I didn't quit. The next day, I asked to spar him again. I kept asking and getting my chances. Then one day, I beat him good. I got the better of him ever since. It was nice to finally accomplish a goal I set for myself after a lot of hard work.
